A UX designer is to make products and technology usable, enjoyable, and accessible for humans. UX designers tend to work as part of a wider product team and will often find themselves bridging the gap between the user, the development team, and key business stakeholders. As a UX designer, it’s your job first and foremost to advocate for the end user or customer. Whether you’re designing a brand-new product, coming up with a new feature, or making changes to an existing product or service—the UX designer must consider what’s best for the user and the overall user experience. At the same time, you are also responsible for making sure that the product or service meets the needs of the business. Does it align with the CEO’s vision? Will it help to increase revenue or retain loyal customers?

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
  • Portfolio of design projects
  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Team spirit, strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Good time-management skills
  • Video editing is a plus!🌟
  • BSc in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field
  • Good communication and team management skills experienced in client design of overseas products
  • Familiar with the interface style setting and UI setting of mobile phone software products (including interface, icon style and unified specifications, etc.)
  • Have a strong logical thinking ability, fully understand the product design plan, and ensure the visual integrity of the product in UI design
  • Familiar with the design specifications of Android and IOS, which can ensure the rationality of design interaction

Essential functions

  • Plan and conduct user researchand competitor analysis
  • Interpret data and qualitative feedback
  • Create user stories, personas, and storyboards
  • Determine information architecture and create sitemaps
  • Create prototypes and wireframes
  • Conduct usability testing
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
